Kenneth Joseph Mohammed is a distinguished anti-corruption accountant, consultant, investigator, analyst, and writer. He has an extensive background in business management, financial and forensic accounting, and anti-corruption policy. With a proven track record of delivering exceptional results through strategic planning and risk assessment, he excels in identifying opportunities for growth and implementing forward-thinking solutions.
Kenneth currently leads as the Managing Consultant at The Anti-Corruption Accountant, providing expertise in financial and forensic accounting, anti-corruption measures, and risk management. His work involves conducting comprehensive assessments of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) policies for government ministries, financial institutions, and international organisations.
His career spans various past roles, including consultancy at Athena Intelligence in Geneva, Switzerland, and serving as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Advisor at Intelligent Sanctuary Ltd., UK. Kenneth’s leadership experience is reflected in his past positions as CEO of Trinidad & Tobago National Petroleum Marketing Co. Ltd., Senior Vice-President of Corporate Services at InvesTT, and CFO for Microsoft Corporation in the Eastern and Southern Caribbean region.
Kenneth is currently a PhD candidate at the Centre for the Study of Corruption at the University of Sussex, complementing his academic credentials, including an MA in Corruption and Governance, an MBA, and a Fellow with the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants.
He also contributes to thought leadership as a freelance writer for The Guardian UK, focusing on the impact of corruption on development in various regions as well as working on projects with the Guardian’s world-renowned investigative team.
